The best thing about making a performance in the open air is having the sky as your lighting rig and the sound of the town as your soundtrack.
Taking as their starting point the particular time and place in which the TeatroAgosto (‘Theatre August’) Festival takes place, Ana Gil and Nuno Leão invite people from the Fundão community to build a theatre piece that declares itself an Act of Summer.
What is proposed, then, is a device for sharing a common space and time, where what matters will be the singular, personal experience that each spectator lives through in witnessing this event.
