Who we are
This website is run by Terceira Pessoa – Associação Cultural, Fábrica da Criatividade, Alameda do Cansado 14b, 6000-075 Castelo Branco, Portugal. If you have any questions about privacy, write to geral@terceirapessoa.pt.
What data we collect and why
Newsletter: if you subscribe to our newsletter, we keep your email address in order to send you Terceira Pessoa’s listings and news. The legal basis for this is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the link included in every email, or by emailing us.
Enquiries and orders: when you write to us, for example to order a book or propose a project, we use the details you send us only to reply and to follow up your request.
Statistics: we use aggregated visitor statistics, which do not rely on cookies and do not identify anyone who visits the site.
Third-party content
Some pages include videos hosted on Vimeo and YouTube. When you play them, those platforms may collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Service providers
The site is hosted by Framer B.V., in the Netherlands. The newsletter is sent through Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC, part of Intuit), in the United States, so your email address is transferred outside the European Economic Area. This transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which Mailchimp is certified, and, as a fallback, by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
How long we keep data
We keep your newsletter email address for as long as your subscription is active, and the messages we receive only for as long as we need to answer them.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct, erase or transfer your data, or to restrict or object to its processing, by writing to geral@terceirapessoa.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
