SENSO COMUM – uma vaga lembrança de um espetáculo (Common sense – a vague memory of a performance) is a performance event born of the conflict between the reading and the writing of the piece itself.
The work moves in a zone where text-centrism is radicalised, leaving the spectator with nothing but the words that appear before them. It is out of this rawness that doors and windows open onto poetics that are built live and mould themselves to the spectator, sinking them into a fiction that, seen from afar, is common to the whole audience. Unlike the fixed character of the poem, this text gradually evaporates over time, turning into phenomenon. What remains is the memory the text leaves us… the memory of the performance.
SENSO COMUM – uma vaga lembrança de um espetáculo continues the path that Terceira Pessoa and Óscar Silva set out on in 2016 with The old image of being loved.
