Um lugar sem coordenadas | Rastro, Margem, Clarão

UM LUGAR SEM COORDENADAS is a performance by Maria Fonseca and Miguel Moreira, created as part of the multidisciplinary project RASTRO, MARGEM, CLARÃO, which brought together performing artists, visual artists and essayists around the writing of Rui Nunes.

Lying down, a man and a woman: two naked bodies, nameless. Whoever watches hesitates, draws closer to one and away from the other, doubts the choice. And sees, too, Cage’s music and the smell of the wet bodies. Wordless, these bodies are like Rui Nunes’s words: they wrestle, each with its own body; they are commas, syntax undone, desire and fear. They seek each other in the reflections of the water, they seduce, they camouflage themselves — and at last they withdraw, leaving us alone with the emptiness of the senses.
