QR Code

QR CODE is a multimedia and performative installation that turns QR (Quick Response) codes into creative material. It starts from Marshall McLuhan’s idea of media as the extensions of man, able to bring global reality into the space of the present — along with its contamination.

Performance, video, sound and installation act as voices in a single chorus, testing the limits of communication. The exhibition inhabits the space between the inside of the gallery and the streets of each place, in the tension between physical and virtual experience: a group exhibition that works as a rhizome-installation, a network of connections between objects, organisms and hybrid experiences.
