We want to sit in front of you.
We want to hear the sound of your breathing.
We want to feel the echo of our scream in your bodies.
And we want to listen to our words in your silence.
ABOUT THE PROCESS
Kurt Cobain is a project by Ana Gil and Nuno Leão in partnership with Cine-Teatro Avenida in Castelo Branco, for students aged 13 to 18.
On stage, 13 teenagers rehearse, live, ways of projecting the reality they perceive. As in a road movie, they set out on a journey with no point of departure or arrival, along the way composing their manifesto in the form of an album of songs, trying to carry on the work of Kurt Cobain.
Kurt Cobain: there’s no end in us is a manifesto.
Kurt Cobain: there’s no end in us is a double CD that opens up possibilities of continuation. It is an album with a hidden track that promises more albums to come.
Kurt Cobain: there’s no end in us wants no end. This album of songs has a hidden track.
