FILOSOFIA DA PAISAGEM explores landscape as a subjective way of looking at the world and the reality around us.
It starts from a simple idea: landscape is fundamental to our experience, to the way we perceive the space around us and how we occupy it with our bodies. From the encounter between different places and ways of seeing come fictions about the surrounding reality, in a performance work that weaves together word, video and the live body.
The project unfolded into creative residencies in Castelo Branco and Vila Velha de Ródão, the multidisciplinary exhibition CAMUFLAGEM: Encounters with Landscape, the video-poem Para que servem os poetas em tempo de indigência? (What are poets for in a destitute time?) and the publication INSIDE/OUTSIDE.
