Diogo Martins
[research and dramaturgy]

Born in 1986.
Graduated in Portuguese Studies – Education, in 2009, at the University of Minho. Worked with MLDC – Microsoft Language Department Center in Oeiras, between May and September 2008, in the area of speech synthesis. Taught Portuguese between 2009 and 2010. In February 2010, he began his doctorate project, funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology, in Literary Theory at the University of Minho, with a thesis dedicated to self-representation (autobiography, self-portrait, journal writing) in the lyrics of Alanis Morissette, seeking to hybridize literary studies, cultural studies, the art of musical performance and a number of topics in neurobiology. He has produced papers for various conferences, such as: Music Speech Power, held at the University of Minho, on 17, 18 and 19 March 2011, and was part of the organizational committee; Women and the Arts: Dialogues in Female Creativity in the US and Beyond, on 15, 16 and June 17, 2011, at the University of Lisbon; Words and Music, on 2 and 3 December 2011, at the University of Maribor (Slovenia); XIV Conference of Autumn – Humanities: New Paradigms of Knowledge and Research, on 8, 9 and 10 November, 2012.
In Terceira Pessoa he was responsible for research and dramaturgy for the REGISTRATION project.
