WHERE THE OLIVE TREES GROW THE MEN DO NOT DIE

WHERE THE OLIVE TREES GROW THE MEN DO NOT DIE

/SINOPSYS

This film bears witness to a story of a belief that art can play an active role in society. It was this story that we found in four villages in the interior of Portugal – Barbaído, Chão da Vã, Freixial do Campo and Juncal do Campo – where there is a project for the development of villages through artistic practices: the “There is a party in the Countryside/Artistic Villages”. The development of this project is thus documented giving rise to a community experience and making it possible to replicate it in other territories.
